Rather Routine...

Is it just me or is anyone else shocked that we are already at the end of April? This month has sure gone by fast...not that I am complaining! You see, I have so much to look forward to these coming months: graduating with my degree, absolutely NO school this summer, and getting a new puppy...eeks! I feel like a kid, really. But before all those exciting things happen, I have ALOT of work to do. That is why life is rather routine right now:

  • Arise
  • Exercise
  • Bible Reading
  • School time
  • Study time
  • Meal time
  • Class time
  • Bedtime
  • Repeat

It's a good thing that I am a routine-kind-of-girl or I would go crazy! Yes, life is crazy busy right now but as fast as time is going, it won't be long until....I am holding my degree, holding my family all summer long, and holding my new rottweiler puppy! Really...life is good!

"And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men."

He is Risen, He is Risen Indeed!

We celebrated Easter in two parts this year...both here at the Ranch!
Part One: Saturday my parents made the trek down from Bakersfield... And Brooke joined us too!
This was so fun! We had seven people and six dogs! Here are the dogs with their respective owners (except for Derek with Hank...he was helping Brooke out!) Dalton & Sandie, Brooke & Penny, Dillon & Bogey, my Dad & Axel, Derek & Hank Lindeman, my Mom & Gunner.
Maybe you have to be a dog lover to view this as fun but it really was! I loved having them all here...
Here is Gunner and his look-alike, Penny...

I love this picture of Gunner...we are celebrating in the good news of him being cancer free!

This cracks me up! Hank, Derek and Axel are all looking down at a ball...waiting for something to happen! Axel could play fetch all day...he has an obsession with balls! Don't tell Gunner...but my mom says that Axel is a better retriever than he is!

Hank ended up with the ball at some point! Way to go little one!

This says it all...Bogey wanted to be left alone and found comfort in the sunroom!

Such a great day of activities...everyone needed a rest!

Part Two: After church on Sunday, Dick and Maxine came over for lunch. It was a lovely, cold day (we actually had to start a fire!) and enjoyed visiting with one another.

And more sleeping...either our house is really boring or very cozy! I've been told and trust it's the latter!

The best part of celebrating Easter: God's victory over sin! He is Risen! He is Risen Indeed!
