Fort Collins, Part 1

Yay!  We are home safe and sound and most of all, we accomplished everything we needed to while in Colorado...praise the Lord!  Because I tried to document everything, I took TONS of pictures and will be posting in segments...who has time to sit and blog about six whole days in one sitting, anyway?  :)

Ready to take-off!  Our flights, baggage, and timing went very smoothly.  I was so thankful to see our bags coming out of the luggage shoots... :)

Well hello there, Rocky Mountains!  You are beautiful!
We flew into Denver and drove into Fort Collins....it is about 65 miles away and was a lovely drive.

However, we all were quite surprised to see this very flat land...when we looked to the right it was flat.flat.flat but then when we looked to the left it was the majestic Rocky Mountains...
Almost there...
We have arrived...
After we checked into our hotel the next order of business was to check out Old Town and get some grub.  The hotel suggested a great local restaurant called Cooper Smith's and it did not disappoint.  They had the best beer battered onion rings on the planet!  Seriously, the food was amazing!
Ta-da!  Here it is...Colorado State University.
Our son's future home!
We fell in love with this quaint college town very quickly...
