Fort Collins, Part 2

We did a lot of driving around town and it didn't take long to get acclimated.  There were lots of people on bikes, walking and best of all, wearing CSU apparel!  :)  We looked at some apartments and then just drove around to soak in this little town...starting with the CSU campus.

CSU's Oval...the entire campus was built around this plot of grass.
Love.love.love all these buildings built in the 1800's...
We documented the Statistics building, as Dillon will probably have at least one class there...ugh!
And this is the Administration building...isn't it fantastic!?!
In a perfect world I would have gotten a picture taken of all four of us in-between the columns...sigh!
This is Summitview Community Church, SVCC.  Dillon and Dalton visited their college group the night we arrived and loved it!  We then all attended on Sunday and felt very welcomed.
We were able to meet Nathan, one of the college leaders, who graduated from CSU in 2006.  He and Dillon really hit it off!  Thank you Jesus!
There is approximately 1200 people in the congregation and about 150 are college students.
During our exploration of the town we came upon HOGAN DRIVE which is my maiden name...very fun!
Then Derek decided to see where some roads took us and we came upon Horsetooth Reservoir.  It was beautiful and apparently is a recreational site where people hike, mountain climb, camp, boat, water ski....you name it!  It is at least six miles long and and about 7000 feet in elevation.  Go ahead and click on the picture to see it in all its glory...  :)
Our attempt of getting Horsetooth in the background...
Here is Hughes Stadium where all CSU football games are played...
The boys with the city of Fort Collins in the background...
It was a great day of exploration...
