The battle of the cone...

Remember the post about Bogey having an ear hematoma removed?  Remember when I said the vet wanted Bogey to wear the stupid cone for seven (!!!!) days?  

Well, he lied.

Bogey had to wear that stupid cone for THREE weeks!!!  Three weeks people, that's 21 days!  Really, that stupid cone was about to break me and everyone else living in this house.  (I just realized that I used stupid as an adjective three times!) hehe...

Despite the burden to Bogey and everyone else, the stupid cone (might as well be consistent!) really did work and his ear healed beautifully.  We all have been set free from this battle of the cone and I, personally, am so very thankful!!

Here's Bogey with the cone right after his surgery....it's all nice and clean.  You can imagine what it might have looked like after three weeks!  :{  Bogey (and us) are oblivious, at this point, to what lies ahead!
