A savored moment...

As many of you know, the boys have played roller hockey since they were 5.  This sport has created a special bond for our family for many years and Derek and I have enjoyed every moment when we have the opportunity to watch our boys play.

It is awesome watching them...it's hard to explain but it's like they can read each other's minds out on the rink.  They "click" in every way.  Many opponents know the "K....... brothers" and shudder.  ha! ;)

Well, this past Tuesday, we watched our boys play hockey together for the last time in what will be a long time.   During the game, I said to Derek, "You realize this is their final game together?"...sniff sniff tear tear.  It was definitely a savored moment for us all.
chatting before the game, Dillon is #8 in the black jersey  and Dalton is in the orange pants...

game time...
We won by a land slide...
I am so thankful that the boys have met such great friends who love hockey as much as they do...
Matt, Dalton, Kevin, and Dillon...

It warmed this mother's heart to see how EVERYONE shook Dillon's hand and wished him well as he goes off to Colorado State.
This night was to be the first of the lasts...
Oh, dear.
